Doctors at a Rapid City hospital determined it was necessary to amputate Michael Scott Moser’s leg above the knee after it was ‘severed’ in the crash, Judd’s rep told the site.
According to reports, Michael was driving his motorcycle when he drifted out of his lane into oncoming traffic, crashing into a car.
Moser also had to get surgery on his hand, which is a concern to the family because he is a drummer in Judd’s band, the rep added.
