"I was invited but I will not attend. The truth is that I have a lot of committments here in Los Angeles, I would've loved to be there like I was last year when I hosted the award show, but it is impossible. And I want to make it clear here [HuffPost Voces] and tell my fans to not wait for me because I will not be there," William stated.
A couple weeks ago it was announced that William would host the awards with Alicia Machado. They both have a troubled past when they worked together on the play, Un amante a la medida. It was strange that they would host PJ together.
The Dancing With The Stars, third place winner, clarified that Alicia had nothing to do with his decision, it was just that they couldn't come to an agreement with his tight schedule.
Premios Juventud will take place this Thursday with performances by Belinda, Espinoza Paz, Pitbull and Juanes.
