Elizabeth Gutierrez announced her split from actor William Levy.
In a press release sent out last night, Gutierrez admitted she ended the 8 year relationship.
"I've always stood beside William, despite persistent rumors, which I then dismissed because I had no reason to doubt the strength of our unionI've made the decision to end this relationship for the sake of my children and myself," said Gutierrez.
The actress added: "I'll admit the decision has not been easy one, but must respect myself as a person, woman and mother."

Just hours after Elizabeth sent her press release, a rumor began spreading about an alleged love child William has. Apparently Willy's "lover" got in touch with Elizabeth before Mother's day, demanding that William acknowledge he was the baby's daddy.
William also sent out the following press release regarding the split:
"I wish to inform you that I am deeply grateful to Elizabeth, the mother of my two children, for the time we spent together...I want to stress that I have the fondest memories of our relationship, and though life takes us in different directions, I do hope this is the right decision is for both of us."

William (30) and Elizabeth (32) met on the set of Telemundo's reality show, "Protagonistas de Novela 2," In 2003 and have been together ever since. They have two children together: Christopher and Kailey.
