Turns out Winfrey visited doctors, last week, but found out her scare was just a false alarm. Reports about Winfrey’s revelation didn’t state what prompted the talk show queen to visit docs.
According to The New York Times, the 58-year-old hadn’t even told best friend Gayle King about the scare. King grew visibly upset at the event after finding out the news.
A fan at the conference then scolded Winfrey for not sharing the news with her best friend and ordered her to apologize to King.
During the fan-filled get-together Ms. O also discussed her troubled TV network, OWN, and said that if her magazine started losing money, she would consider closing it.
