"He's been withdrawn and staying out with his friends even more than usual lately, and she confronted him about cheating," a friend confirms in the new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now.
Lamar was forced to shack up at the Luxe hotel in downtown LA — a roughly 45-minute drive away from their Tarzana, Calif., home — from Jan. 7 to before traveling to Memphis, Tenn., for a game on Jan. 13.
"Khloé says something she saw prompted her to have these conversations with Lamar," the friend shares. "He denied it - but she's not sure he's being honest."
Whether her intuition about other women is warranted, "She'll have told him to get out until he can come back and be a proper husband. Khloé won't tolerate any wrongdoing on Lamar's part," according to a source.
The NBA power forward was spotted getting food to go from the Luxe's FigOly restaurant three days in a row. "He looked really tired, really down," notes an eyewitness who saw Lamar Odom getting into the Luxe's elevator on Jan. 11. "His face was kind of swollen-looking and his eyes were puffy."
Lamar's puffiness could be the result of his continued partying. Lamar was doing shots of Don Julio 1942 tequila — at 11:30 a.m.! — with pals at Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica on Jan. 10. After a few rounds, he ordered two bottles of champagne, and that night headed to a raucous birthday party for teammate Ronny Turiaf at a Beverly Hills mansion.
As Life & Style previously reported, the latest evidence of Lamar's hard-partying ways surfaced after he was spotted apparently exchanging numbers with a couple of hot girls at LA's Greystone Manor on Dec. 30. Previously, Lamar was spotted without his wedding ring on at Greystone, where a petite blonde flirtily played with a chain around his neck on Dec. 9. Lamar was also spotted in the back alley of Oklahoma City's Skkybar with two mystery brunettes on Nov. 21, after an insider claims Lamar snuck two women into his hotel room at the Trump SoHo in NYC over Thanksgiving.
