Jenni Rivera’s brother, Pedro Rivera, Jr., held a press conference outside his family’s Lakewood, California home, today, where he disclaimed previous reports that his sister was being cremated.

"She did not want to be cremated…she wanted to be buried, not for her ashes to be saved…with the casket closed,” revealed Pedro on Thursday, who also said there are no ashes of his sister.

Earlier today, he said: “We have received 100 percent confirmation that my sister Jenni has gone to be with the Lord."

He added: “They did show pictures to my brothers of the body, it is not the full body, but they did show some pictures…where Juan said ‘that is my sister, I don’t need to see anymore.’ Gus saw them and he said said, ‘That is my sister.’  They didn’t have to wait for the DNA…they just said this is my sister.”

He also explained: “And now they’re on their way back to L.A. to bring the body.  And they got the body with her.  That’s 100 percent sure.”  Pedro also said funeral services in L.A. will be public.
