The hilarious bit is that the book is penned by Penny herself. The Laverne & Shirley star obviously loves the impersonation that the comic has done over the years on SNL.
The comedian sports a blonde wig with the signature Penny glasses.
"It's got some good stories in it. The book's coming out September 18. Are we going to have a phone number here?" he asks signaling at the middle of the shot.
During the promo "Penny" gets a phone call from BFF Carrie Fisher.
"My best friend's Carrie Fisher... I taught her how to wrestle, how to box, how to fight ... She wants you to know she's got a book coming out too. It's a dictionary of some kind."
