Family insiders confirmed the news to TMZ.com. According to the site, Bain died in Livemore, California this Monday, January 14th, 2013.

"He was an amazing person. He was a lot like Mr. Drummond, but much more interesting in real life. He was an amazing father," Conrad’s daughter told the site.
The 89-year-old actor, who was going to turn 90 on February 4th, had three sons, one daughter and a twin brother named Bonar. He died of natural causes, according to his daughter.
