- Although Art Linkletter delighted audiences with his shows, "People are Funny" and "House Party," the TV host had a lot of tragedy in his life. In 1969, his 20-year-old daughter, Diane, died after jumping from her sixth-floor Hollywood apartment. Linkletter said LSD was to blame, although toxicology tests found no trace of the drug in her body after she died. Another of Art's sons, Robert, died in a 1980 car accident. - Anna Nicole Smith's 20-year-old son, Daniel, died in his mother's Nassau, Bahamas hospital room on September 10, 2006, just three days after she give birth to daughter Dannielynn Hope. According to reports, Daniel was tending to his mother at 6:20a.m., but by 9:39 a.m., Anna Nicole woke up to find him unresponsive. Doctors tried to revive him during 22 minutes without success and he was pronounced dead at 10:05 a.m. Dr. Cyril Wecht, hired by Anna Nicole Smith to do a second autopsy on her son, said Daniel died from a lethal combination of methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro. - In January 1997, Bill Cosby's only son, Ennis, was shot to death by Mikhail Markhasev during an attempted robbery in Bel-Air, California. According to reports, Ennis was on the side of the road, trying to change a spare tire when the incident occurred. Mikhail, an immigrant from the Ukraine, was convicted of first-degree murder and attempted robbery on July 7, 1998. - On March 20, 1991, Eric Clapton's 4 ½ year old son, Connor, died after falling out of a bedroom window in his 53rd floor Manhattan apartment. Police said the child landed on a four-story building next to Clapton's residence. According to authorities, the window-which was not protected by a guard- was left open after it was cleaned by a housekeeper. Although Connor wasn't in the room during the cleaning, authorities said he darted past his housekeeper and somehow fell out the window. Andrew-who played "Boner" on the hit sitcom, "Growing Pains"-was 41 at the time. According to reports, Koenig's body was found hanging from a tree in Vancouver's Stanley Park during a private search conducted by family and friends. Apparently Cheyenne was depressed after her lover, Dag Drollet, was shot to death by her half-brother, Christian (picture, center), on May 16, 1990. That tragic incident occurred at Marlon's Beverly Hills estate. According to authorities, Christian said he committed the crime because Drollet beat his sister while she was pregnant.
