According to TMZ.com, actress Ashley Olsen was on board an American Airlines flight departing from Dallas, today, when something went wrong with the engine.
The plane’s engine burst into flames, reports The National Enquirer.
Officials say the cockpit filled with smoke and the plane returned to gate. A representative from American Airlines also said there was an electrical odor in the cockpit. The incident happened before take-off.
A new Boeing 767 was then brought to transport the 211 passengers to Los Angeles International Airport.
An AA rep says the flight was delayed for less than 2 hours.
